The Bugleverse
The Bugle
The Bugle is the ultimate pan-global audio home of international satire. The show is a weekly eruption of comedic comment about the world’s most, and least, important news stories.
Since its 2016 relaunch it has been hosted by Andy Zaltzman with his private militia of co-hosts including Hari Kondabolu from the US, Anuvab Pal from India, Alice Fraser from Australia and, from the UK, Nish Kumar and Andy’s multi-podcast-award-winning sister Helen.
The Gargle
From the makers of The Bugle, this is a weekly show that skips the news pages and takes a sideways glance at the nonsense contained within the culture, celebrity, tech, science and advice sections of the news.
Alice Fraser is joined every show by two great comics from across the globe, bringing 30 minutes of smart satire alongside juvenile nonsense!
The Last Post
A daily satirical news fantasy. From the comedy team behind The Bugle. Imagine a world just like this one where a man called Trump still runs the free world, where Brexit continues to rage on and climate change continues to simultaneously burn, melt and pour on things. Imagine this world also has podcasts and there is a satirical show that speaks truth to power, but this one is hosted by Alice Fraser, and in 2021 it was released daily.
BBC Radio 4
The News Quiz

Episode #402: Alice Fraser
August 22, 2022
Alice Fraser first studied law in Sydney, Australia, but found comedy and the Footlights while getting her Master’s degree in rhetoric at Cambridge, and honed her stand-up skills in New York City’s open mics and comedy clubs before returning to Australia as a comedian. You’ve likely heard Fraser’s voice before if you’re a fan of The Bugle. She also hosts a weekly spin-off podcast, The Gargle — and in the first year of the COVID pandemic, she wrote and performed a daily satirical news podcast, The Last Post, set in an alternate dimension. She’s also co-hosted best-selling documentary audiobooks on Audible, and her 2020 stand-up special, Savage, was released as an Amazon Original on Prime Video. Fraser sat down with me between shows in her 2022 Edinburgh Fringe run of her latest hour, Chronos. We had an enjoyable and educational discussion about the harsh economics of stand-up comedy, whether you’re taking your show to the Fringe or just trying to pay the bills and support a family.

It’s Episode 112! Comedians Alice Fraser (The Bugle & Tea With Alice) and Myq Kaplan (Broccoli and Ice Cream) return to review Alice’s choice Fast & Furious 6.
Fast & Furious 6 is the sixth outing in the Fast & Furious franchise. Did you want more plot? Fast & Furious 6 sees the previous films plots of street racing left behind in a screech of tyres, featured returning characters Luke (Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson) Hobbs and Owen (Luke Evans) Shaw and brought back Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) and brought much more of an action vibe to the franchise.
Scores [supsystic-tables id=117] Unlikely to win over haters Fast & Furious 6 has everything you’ve come to expect and enjoy from a Fast and Furious film and if that’s your bag you’ll enjoy this. If it isn’t there are plenty of other films on Netflix you can try. Fast and Furious doesn’t require much brainpower to watch and it scores a pretty respectable 3.8 overall.
